From your doorstep, ride straight into a 50,000-acre trail system linking Roslyn Ridge through to the Teanaway Community Forest and national forest lands beyond.

Fishing

The Yakima River — Washington State's only designated blue-ribbon trout stream — flows through agricultural corridors approximately thirty minutes east of Roslyn Ridge. This world-class fishery draws fly fishing enthusiasts from throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Lake Cle Elum adds still water fishing for trout and kokanee salmon to the roster. The rivers and streams of the upper county provide additional angling opportunities throughout the spring, summer, and fall seasons.

The Alpine Lakes Wilderness, encompassing approximately 394,000 acres and more than 700 alpine lakes, begins within minutes of the Roslyn Ridge community. With 615 miles of designated wilderness trails ranging from easy family nature loops to demanding summit routes, the hiking opportunities available from Roslyn Ridge are among the finest in the Pacific Northwest.

Trailheads leading to Snow Lake, Rachel Lake, and the celebrated Enchantments backcountry are all accessible within a 30-to-45-minute drive.

Looking for something close to town? The Coal Mines trail is a wide, flat gravel trail that starts in Cle Elum and runs through Ronald - with an easy stop along the way to refresh in Roslyn. The trail is 5.5 miles (one way) and boasts views of many different coal mining remains. This trail is great for hiking, biking, horseback riding and running.
